Candle Care Guide
A mindful burn begins here.
Each of our candles is hand-poured with care using soy wax sourced from Canadian farms, phthalate-free fragrances, and clean-burning cotton or wood wicks.
With just a few mindful steps, you can enjoy a longer, cleaner, and more beautiful burn every time.
Before You Light
-
Trim your wick to ¼ inch before each burn. This prevents soot and ensures a steady flame.
-
Place your candle on a heat-safe surface, away from drafts, curtains, or anything flammable.
-
For your first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edges, this helps prevent tunneling and sets the “memory” of your candle.
While Burning
-
Never burn longer than 4 hours at a time.
-
Keep your candle within sight and away from pets and children.
-
If you see smoke or flickering, gently extinguish and trim the wick before relighting.
After You Burn
-
Allow the wax to cool and solidify before moving or relighting.
-
Stop using your candle when about ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom.
-
To clean your vessel, warm any leftover wax gently and wipe clean with a cloth, perfect for reuse or recycling.
Sustainability in Every Flame
Our candles are made with intention : soy-based, cruelty-free, and toxin-free, poured in small batches to reduce waste.
Every element, from wax to wick to packaging, reflects our commitment to a cleaner, more conscious way of creating.
Pro Tips for a Longer Burn
✨ Keep your candle covered between uses to protect its fragrance.
🌿 Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
💛 If you have purchased a container candle, reuse your vessel as a planter, trinket dish, or tea-light holder : a small way to extend its story.
From our studio to your home ❤️ thank you for choosing mindful fragrance.
Each burn is a small ritual, made with heart. 🌸
